The regular meetings of the Militia are held on the third Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the Fairhaven Academy Building, 141 Main Street.
Summer Encampment at Silver Shell Beach, Marion

The Fairhaven Village Militia with join other regional reenacting groups for a living history weekend encampment. There will be demonstrations of camp cooking, military drilling, flintlock musket firing, cannon firing, children's games, colonial craftsmanship and more. Free admission.
Fall Revolutionary War Encampment
Saturday and Sunday, September 22 & 23, 2018

Fort Phoenix, Fort Street, Fairhaven, MA
The Fairhaven Village Militia and the Wareham Minutemen and Militia Companies present a two-day historical encampment at Fort Phoenix. Talk to period costumed men and women about the fort’s history and life in the 1770s. See military drilling, flintlock musket and cannon firing demonstrations and camp cooking demonstrations. Try tomahawk throwing or children’s games. Also watch activities such as spinning, fire starting, tin smithing, leather working, and more.
Saturday evening at sundown (approx. 6:30 p.m.) see a demonstration “night firing” of the fort’s five large cannons. Free. Handicap accessible.
Evening Foxwoods Fund-raising Bus Trip

Leaves Fairhaven Staples parking lot 5:00 p.m.
Join the Fairhaven Village Militia for a ride to the Foxwoods Casino. Tickets are $35 each and include the non-stop bus ride, $10 slots play, free buffet 0r $10 restaurant voucher. There will be raffles on board the bus during the trip. Tickets will be available at Mike & Wayne's, 163 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven, or from any member of the militia.
